There are over 14,000 registered Haflingers in North America now, and the numbers are rapidly growing. The horse ranges from 52 to 59 inches tall and weighs from 800 to 1,200 pounds. The Haflinger is chestnut, ranging from honey blond to chocolate, with a mane and tail ranging from pure white to flaxen. The horse is known for its versatility--riding, driving and working.
